About League Two
League Two is the fourth tier of English football and the lowest division in the English Football League. Twenty-four clubs play forty-six matches, with three promoted and two relegated to the National League. For many clubs this is the boundary between professional and semi-professional football, and the margins are felt in everything from squad depth to pitch quality.
