About Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace play at Selhurst Park in south London, capacity 25,486. Founded in 1905, the Eagles have no major trophies but a character built on defiance rather than silverware. FA Cup runners-up in 1990 and 2016. The Holmesdale Road End ultras have made Selhurst one of the most atmospheric grounds in England, with flags, tifos and drums unusual for the English game. The M23 derby with Brighton is the big one.

Wilfried Zaha (2010-2023) grew up 200 metres from Selhurst Park and became the most fouled player in [[Premier League]] history, capable of dribbling past anyone. Ian Wright signed from non-league Greenwich Borough, scored two in the 1990 FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool, then went on to wider fame at Arsenal. Palace fans will always claim him first.
